Day 5 transbeskidzki szlak konny Korbielów - Zawoja
Ooooh what a beautiful day!!
Slept pretty well. Up early, bags were for a large part already ready.
Packed the last stuff.
At 7.00am outside to get our horses off the pasture so that the man's horses could go back to the stable.
He was already waiting for us. Apparently the horses had been out last night.
The neighbor would have told him and he would have 'caught' them again.
I didn't believe any of it. But I did say sorry.
While waiting, our horses were already brushed in the hope that they would not roll anymore, shoes on and then back on the pasture until we had breakfast.
We had to wait a while for breakfast, but it was worth it.
Belly eaten round, horses off the pasture and saddled up.
Both only our rain pants on. Because the saddles were already quite dry, but when you sat on them you could still feel wet.
The weird man said goodbye and we left!
The sweater was soon off. Horses walked briskly. The sun was shining, it really felt like summer. Delicious!!!
We had a very nice day.
Partly thanks to the weather, but it was also just nice horse-friendly roads.
We walked a few times on the very steep descents. And another 2 or 3 times up a very steep and long mountain. But we sat a lot in the saddle. The guys did a great job and especially Dior was very smooth! So proud of my little one!!
We rode along the Slovakian border and it was beautiful.

A small disappointment, Geert thought we would come across a mountain shelter where we could eat in the afternoon. But that turned out not to be correct. Oops! Lucky we had enough cookies!
The last part was on a large busy road and Calisto found that very exciting and stressful. Arrived at the place were we would stay the night, a riding school.
There was confusion, not again!! I called yesterday and apparently they understood that we would arrive yesterday. Anyway, everything turned out well. Horses stayed on a lawn / football field. With all kinds of plants around. Non-toxic, As far as I know.
Because Mr. Dior is a real hooligan, since they also eat a lot of trees and bushes at home, they are used to that.
It all went quickly. Horses can stay on here. Okay, where do I get water? And where can our stuff go? Do we have a room now? Yes? Okay, where? Haha all turned out well.
Went to eat again in less than 5 minutes walking. We had a nice shower. Finally a double bed! What a luxury, isn't it, if you're used to sleeping together! I'm definitely going to sleep well.
